That chunky midsole features New Balance's signature ABZORB cushioning which continues to show how ahead of it's time it really was. One of the signature details of the M1000 is the novel heel 'collar' support which cradles your achilles and creates a secure fit.

Part of the 'Reflective Pack' the M1000TE features a tonal grey colourway that's defined by the level of reflective material used throughout. Everybody knows we love a bit of 3M and these come packing fully reflective panels across the entire upper, which makes for an impressive look when the light dips.
